How It Works
On-demand house and pet sitting is our core service. It takes place by connecting sitter-partners and customers on our platform we call Sitahouse.com. Here’s how it works:
As a customer you must first create a profile. Then you find available sitters in your area, select a sitter, and then book a time. You will get updates from the sitter beginning at when they arrive on location to when the job is done. You might provide to the sitter the contact information of the contractor(s) so the sitters can confirm/remind roughly 24-48 hours prior to the appointment. We also ask that any relevant information required to access the property be provided.
The sitter will be be able to select available jobs based on his/her availability and proximity. Once a sitter selects a job from Sitahouse.com, s/he may be asked to contact the contractor(s) to confirm the appointment is still good. Sitters also notify the homeowner when they arrive at the location and when the job is done by pressing the corresponding buttons on the site. If necessary or requested, additional information shall be provided. The sitter will sit the house and/or oversee the contractor(s) and work performed according to customer instructions and the Sitahouse.com community guidelines.
No longer should homeowners have to sacrifice vacation days on waiting for a contractor to show, or a delivery driver to make it on time. Rest easy knowing that these can be taken care of for you, so you can finally take that exotic vacation you’ve been waiting for, or you can stay at work, or whatever…you now get the freedom to choose how you want to spend this time.
